Entry is now open for the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2012, the leading international photographic portrait competition, which celebrates and promotes the very best in contemporary portrait photography. The competition is open to everyone aged 18 and over from around the world.
In the Prize’s search for excellence, photographers are encouraged to interpret ‘portrait’ in its widest sense of ‘photography concerned with portraying people with an emphasis on their identity as individuals.’

Cesare Di Liborio
He is born in Reggio Emilia on 20th July 1960, in 1989 he moved to Basilicagoiano, in the province of Parma, where he still lives. He has exhibited in many prestigious places in Italy and abroad including at Reattu Museum in Arles, at the Bruxelles European Parliament, “ Musée de la Photographie” in Charleroi, Belgium and many others.

Featuring 3 sections for pure photos with subjects 'STORMS', 'ARCHITECTURE' and FUNNY FACES' and also a section for altered photos called 'ARTHOUSE'. There is a pre-selection process to name 25 finalists in each section.
There are 3 public exhibitions planned for Sydney, Dubbo and Orange in Australia.
First prize is $5,000 and a PEOPLE'S CHOICE prize of $3,000 worth of camera equipment.
Entry is only $5 per photo and entry closes 24th May, 2012.

The Creative Asia Awards is revolutionary in its vision to evolve, include and educate its entrants. Entries will be accepted online as digital images. The entries will be judged online in a pre elimination round to determine the top 25 images in each of the 8 categories. All images judged online will receive feedback from the judges so even if you don't make it to the finals you will still benefit from this experience.

The Aesthetica Art Prize is open to all artists internationally. There are no age requirements for the Aesthetica Art Prize and no formal qualifications needed. Art does not need to have been exhibited previously and previous exhibitions do not preclude your work from selection but work submitted must be available for an exhibition in the Spring 2013.
